Ross has completed certifications in multiple sports, including alpine ski race coach; alpine ski race official; alpine ski instructor; and curling coach. In B.C., Ross has coached athletes of Grouse Mountain Tyee Ski Race Club and the public through Grouse Mountain Snow School.

Ross is a qualified alpine ski race coach with Canadian Ski Coaches Federation; ski instructor with Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance; and ski race official with Alpine BC. He was delighted to nurture ski talent of tomorrow at Grouse Mountain Tyee Ski Race Club (largest in Western Canada, ~250 athletes).

Other sports

Ross, a former competitive curler in Scotland, is a qualified curling coach with Royal Caledonian Curling Club. Ross was Head Umpire at Sea to Sky Field Hockey Club (West Vancouver, BC) and has captained multiple field hockey teams including that of Ernst & Young London.
